P.O.W.E.R. Event – Saturday, September 8
MPC’s Prayers of Women Expecting Results (P.O.W.E.R.) group invites women of all ages and faiths to attend our very first meeting Saturday September 8th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Kathy Dunleavy will be our speaker. Please invite your female friends and relatives to be a part of this powerful new ministry. Please sign up to attend in the East Room after either service this Sunday.

Connection Sunday – September 9
On Sunday, September 9, the church family will have the opportunity to explore the many ways to get connected and involved at MPC.
Plan to stay after services and tour tables and displays provided for your attention and interest by various missions and ministries of our church. Receive information about how to serve and grow at MPC. Special food treats are also in store! This is a great time to enjoy fellowship and get connected to MPC! Bikes, Trikes & Treats – Sunday, September 16
Kids, (toddlers through 5th grade) and their parents and grandparents are invited to come to a new event, “Bikes, Trikes and Treats” on Sunday, September 16, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. at MPC. Bring your own bikes, trikes, Big Wheels, Green Machines, scooters or skateboards. Enjoy the safe, wide open spaces of the MPC parking lot and ride free! Beverages and treats will be provided. Men’s Retreat – September 28 – 30
This year’s Men’s Retreat is scheduled for Friday, September 28 – Sunday, September 30. The event will be held at Camp Huston in Gold Bar, Washington and will follow the traditional schedule. We’ll be joined by men from two local ECO churches, Rose Hill Presbyterian Church (Kirkland) and Foster Tukwila Presbyterian Church (Tukwila).

The Journeys of Paul – October 15 – 27 
Pastor Mark and Pastor Al Sandalow (Ellensburg Presbyterian Church) invite you to join them on a trip exploring the “Journeys of Paul in Greece & Rome,” October 15 – 27, 2018. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain a new appreciation for early Christian history. We will be visiting such biblical sites as Thessaloniki, Philippi, Corinth and Athens. From Athens, the group will fly to Rome to visit the Vatican, the Catacombs, Naples, Pompeii and other sites of historical and cultural importance.
