As you know, this has been a devastating week in Southern California with wildfires that have decimated entire communities. Thank you for continuing in prayer for our ECO covenant partners, our churches, and with the tens of thousands of others who have been affected. 

 

Here is a special message from ECO's Southern California and Mission Presbyteries:

 

Dear ECO Family,

 

Greetings from the Southern California Presbytery and the Mission Presbytery. Our two presbyteries cover the Los Angeles region—where recent fires are causing unprecedented loss. We desire to showcase a response that reflects the nature of our ECO covenant community. To this end, we are together establishing a fund to offer support to people in need that the two presbyteries will jointly administer.

How many thousands of people are laboring beneath the weight of anxious fear and hopeless desperation. Pray that we may extend the Gospel with the fullness of the peace and hope of Christ.
